Had a fantastic time, love Cumberland House. Starting with our arrival the valet, Gus, Was very attentive and the great care of our vehicle. Our room was quiet and comfortable. We’ll definitely stay here again.
Really conveniently located hotel with fun design and high quality rooms. Aside from a rude valet attendant when we first arrived, we had an incredible stay. Loved the balcony and the view as an added bonus.

From the moment I arrived at Cumberland House Hotel, he greeted me with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine smile that instantly made me feel welcome. He handled my vehicle with care and efficiency, and was always quick to assist with anything I needed. What really impressed me was his attention to detail and thoughtful demeanor—he anticipated needs before I even had to ask. Whether it was offering directions, helping with luggage, or simply making conversation, Aiden consistently went above and beyond. If you’re staying at Cumberland House, you’re in excellent hands with Aiden. He’s a true example of what great hospitality looks like. Highly recommend!
We had a couple of great days during our stay for parents weekend at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. The room was great and the staff was excellent. We want to call out Mychael who was always extraordinarily welcoming and happy to help us, however we needed it. We own our own travel agency and travel all over the world. It’s not uncommon for us to be gone more than 35 weeks out of the year. Rarely do we experience someone with the kind of positive energy and positive service attitude like Mychael. You’re lucky to have him on your team.
This is a great hotel with an amazing staff. They are very helpful with any issues or questions. My only issue is the bathroom doors are glass.
This was our first but definitely NOT our last stay. From check in to out the Cumberland House team was professional and kind. UT football weekends are chaotic but it didn’t show. A special shout out to the valet team Michael, Aiden and Ike. They play Jinga and win every day!!!! See you next season! Go Vols!
Upscale but affordable! Rooms were super clean, the lobby is spectacular and the under 10 minute walk to the Convention Center is perfect! The valet is too expensive at $35/night but there's a parking garage next door. Also pet friendly. Would use again!
